Kirkmahoe Concerts News

We have had some memorable gigs at Kirkmahoe Concerts, but 21 March was up with the best. Huge thanks to poets (Sue Scott, Christopher Rogerson, Rory Landale and David Neilson) for some splendid readings. Open Mic singer-songwriters Ron Montgomery and Lewis Fergusson turned in splendid sets, with Lewis's forceful finger style playing much to the fore. 

Then what a second half! Alan McClure variously amused, enchanted, provoked and soothed his audience with a remarkable set of songs, poems, whistle playing, banter and story-telling. 

There was great support too from the Dalswinton Hall committee, whose members made sure the refreshments flowed and everything went smoothly.  It was a brilliant evening and a great format that we will repeat again in due course.  And all for a £5 ticket!!!
