Next Edition of Grapevine

Hello Everyone,

We are looking for contributions to the next Grapevine which we hope to produce in October.
Please can you forward any articles or pictures of local interest to me (nwcarzield@hotmail.co.uk or John Young (sleepyhollow2@btinternet.com) by 12th September.

We would be particularly interested in any new groups which have formed, both news and dates and times, or if you are thinking of starting an activity and wish to get members.
If you have a calendar of events we can add it to the back page.

Thanks

Jean Muir

Carnsalloch House Development

As previously discussed we are required by the Planning Authorities to give a Public Consultation presentation on our proposals to redevelop Carnsalloch House.

Please find attached the ‘Proposal of Application Notice’ for your information and circulation to Kirkmahoe Community Council. We have booked Kirkton Village Hall on Friday 12th August, 2011 at 7.30pm and will give a PowerPoint presentation explaining the Scheme. We will also forward a copy of the Submission Report to you when it is submitted to D&G Council Planners later in the year, after the consultation process. We would welcome any comments or suggestions you have on our proposals.
Best Regards, IAN
