Water Supply Problems

For those of you who were without water for more than 24hrs due to Scottish Water

I have been informed by one of the complaints managers at Scottish Water that people may be entitled to compensation of £10 per every 12hrs if their water was off for more than 24 hrs.

I am not exactly sure about qualifying criteria, but it seems that you would have had to have phoned them and let them know, you may need a job number from Scottish Water, and it would need to have been their pipes that were frozen.

If you phoned Scottish Water and they did not give you a job number, they may still have a record of your call(s), especially if they later came and fixed your pipes.

You can apply for a GSS payment on the 0845 601 8855 helpline number or you can send an email to customer.concerns@scottishwater.co.uk

Any problems, please get back to me
