I was out with my camera late one evening last week and I heard a rustling
sound. I aimed at where the sound came from and took a photo even though I
couldn't see in the dark.
This is the culprit. It has been
confirmed by the Vincent Wildlife Trust who are currently carrying out a survey
as a real polecat (not a ferret or a ferret cross). They and SNH are pretty
excited as it's the first in our area!
It looks so pretty but is apparently really vicious. If anyone else sees
it, could they let me know where and when and I'll pass the information on.
