Kirkmahoe Parish Hall- ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. Friday October 15th at 7.3pm, in the Village Hall.

 

This is a particularly important meeting for Kirkton Village Hall as the working of the Hall Committee will be transferred from a CHARITY COMMITTEE to a SCIO, that is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. This transfer will offer advantages to the trustees which make up the organising committee. Details will be explained at the AGM but it has involved the transfer of all the committee's finances as well as everything associated with the hall which the trustees own. It is very important that this transfer is seen to go through properly at the AGM.

In addition to this process, all the other business of an AGM will be carried out, including election of a new committee, along with its office bearers, a financial report and AOCB. Your presence at the AGM would be very much welcomed. The regular activities of the hall have started to appear once again after this awful pandemic and it is so vital that the hall organising committee is able to continue its work in a robust fashion. All inputs are heartily welcomed
