Kirkton Post Office operates from the Village Hall on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9am-11am.

It offers the following services:

Postal Services:
Sending letters and packages (either standard delivery, special delivery, signed for service or parcelforce for bigger items  to UK and International destinations).  She can scan barcode labels from firms such as Amazon for returning goods. You can also buy Stamps of all values.

Post Office Card Account:
This is the card that people get various DWP payments paid into.  You can get cash withdrawals and do card management tasks.

Other Banking:
Chip and pin services for cash withdrawals and deposits for most banks (RBS, Bank of Scotland, Clydesdale, Santander, TSB, Lloyds Nationwide and more) Also Cheque deposits into these banks with a pay in slip.

Postal Orders:
These act like cheques for those who do not have a cheque book or bank account and can be made out in a secure fashion. There is a small fee for these.

Electronic Bill Payments:
Any utility/council/housing and other bills can be paid in the Post Office either using paper bills that customers get through the door or with magnetic strip bill payments cards.  Please note that paper bills must state that they can be processed in the post office but if a customer has one that does not say this, the giro slip can be posted to the bill provider with a postal order.

e top-ups:
For mobile phone top ups (all networks) and prepayment electricity and gas keys (only for major suppliers, most of the newer small suppliers are not supported by the Paystation that Post Office use.)

These services are very important in the current situation.  Please use them.
