Invitation to be in the audience for BBC Radio debate on the up and coming election

Subject: BBC Constituency Debate

Dear Terry,

The BBC is hosting a number of regional radio hustings debates over the coming weeks in the run up to the Scottish Election on the 05 May. These will provide local people with the opportunity to put their questions to the candidates standing in their constituency.

In the Dumfriesshire constituency there will be a radio debate on the 26 April in The Duncan Rooms, Easterbrook Hall, Dumfries. The panel will consist of the following standing candidates:-

SNP Joan McAlpine
Labour Elaine Murray
Conservatives Oliver Mundell
Liberal Democrats Richard Brodie

The regional hustings debates are a great opportunity to look specifically at the core issues impacting the local community and will give the audience an opportunity to hold the politicians to account. A short article on the Dumfriesshire debate along with a link to a questionnaire which we are asking potential audience members to fill out can be found in the link below:-

It would be fantastic if you could please circulate this email around your organisation and help us to bring this valuable opportunity to the attention of as many people as possible.

I have also attached a one page presentation which again gives a more visual overview of the debate.

Many thanks in advance for your support.

Kindest regards,

Ross Whyatt
