WHAT IS THE SCOURGE?
It lies on verges, pavements, and areas people walk on.
WHO SUFFERS?
People and children who stand on it.
IS THERE A CURE?
Yes, pick it up, and take it home.
IS THIS BEING DONE?
Responsible people are already doing this, however some are going half way by picking up but then leaving it lying, festooning it on bushes, putting it in the dry stane dykes, or worse still putting it in other people's dustbins.
ANY OTHER EFFECTS?
Verges have to be maintained strimmed etc it is likely to fly up onto people's faces and clothes. With short days and long hours of darkness it is easy to stand on.
Can anyone guess what the scourge is?
FREE WASTE BAGS CAN BE OBTAINED FROM THE SHOP.
Take your dog waste home with you.
The dogs are not at fault. Be a responsible owner.
