Daytime Social Club & Candlemass

Please see attached details of two events, Kirkmahoe Daytime Social Club have their first get together this year on the 28th January in Kirkton Hall.

We also look forward to welcoming you to the Candlemas Midwinter Celebration on the 2nd February in our beautiful wee red tin church in the woods at Dalswinton.

Survey and focus group on future funding after EU exit URGENT deadline 13th Jan

Survey and focus group on future funding after EU exit Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway has been asked by the South of Scotland Economic Partnership to consult with our sector on the absence of European funds when the UK exits the EU. One way you can input is through the survey HERE. The change could have a major impact on the sector and this is an opportunity to have your say. The deadline to complete the survey is Monday January 13 so don't delay. • A focus group will also be held on the subject in Dumfries on the morning of Thursday January 23. If you would like to participate book at this link: FOCUS GROUP.

Free First Aid Course in Feb

We will be running a free First Aid course in the near future and have a few spaces available for anyone who would be interested in learning basic life saving techniques. In particular we want to encourage people who use the local halls as part of a group and/or come to community events as having our own First Aiders saves a fortune when we need cover for events. 

This is a half day course and will be run on a day which suits to be arranged.

For those who have already shown interest in coming along please note that the training will be done on a date in February to give us time to fill spaces and organise the event. Please send me a list of dates you would prefer in February.
