Waste collections

The waste collection service will be operating as normal over the festive season in Nithsdale, Stewartry and Annandale and Eskdale, apart from households and commercial premises whose waste is uplifted on a Wednesday and Thursday.

Please make sure your wheeled bin or Council supplied refuse sacks are out for collection by 7.30am on your collection day.

*On this occasion, residents are permitted to present up to 3 refuse sacks on their next scheduled collection day.  Free sacks are no longer issued to all residents in December.

Carol Singing

Just a wee reminder that our Carol Singing event is on Sunday 22nd December. Come and join us - meet at the pump on the village green Kirkton at 6.30pm. Usually takes about 2 hours to get round the village with mulled wine, tea and mince pies in the hall afterwards.Please bring a light of some kind - don't want you getting lost down some dark alleyways.
