Huggy Bear

HUGGY BEAR plays to help Kirkton Hall!

Kirkton Hall is aiming to have a big dance night on Saturday April 22nd to help strengthen their funds – which have been working hard this year!
The music for the evening is being supplied by very popular local band, HUGGY BEAR, who will have the hall rocking to sounds from the sixties right through to the noughties. A licensed bar will be on hand to slake the thirst of the dancers.
Kirkton Hall is a very busy place, hosting events and activities on every week day, with private hires appearing on many weekends. Whether it’s Pilates, Tai Chi, Badminton, Bowls or Old Time Dancing that sparks your fancy, Kirkton Hall is the place to come.  The fabric of the hall, of course, is always  requiring of attention and, this year, window refurbishment, front steps upgrade and interior redecoration are on the agenda. Hence the need for a good fundraiser.

The hall always provides a very warm, welcoming atmosphere on “events evenings” and it will really shine on Huggy Bear dance night. The fun begins at 7.30pm

Sad fate of the Village Green Crocuses

Image may contain: plant, grass, outdoor and nature                                                               It is sad for us to report that the crocuses we planted with the children do not seem to have their flowers which should now be dying back and are necessary for enrichment of the bulb for next year. Many would appear to have been trampled on.
