Please take care

This is by way of a warning to drive carefully whilst leaving Kirkton Village. Stones have fallen from the sides of the road immediately as you leave Kirkton heading for town,

A local motorist hit one of these stones and ended up with a major puncture and a gaping  hole in the side of the tyre.

This required purchasing a brand new tyre.

Advice is to try to keep to the centre of the road if traffic allows, until something can be done to stop large stones falling on to the road, and causing upset and damage.
