An updated FLOOD ALERT has been issued for Dumfries and Galloway.
There is a risk of flooding for coastal areas at High Water, which occurs around midnight on Wednesday into Thursday . High tides, combined with southeasterly winds, will give a risk of flooding in some exposed areas. There is a possibility of small scale overtopping of defences by wave action, causing minor disruption, such as road flooding. There may also be similar impacts at High Water at midday on Thursday.
