The following works are proposed on or near the road.
carriageway surfacing
Alternative Routes
via C11n, A76(T), A75(T), A701(T), C11n and vice versa.
Pedestrian Access
Pedestrian access will be maintained
Timing of Closure
21/07/2014 to 25/08/2014
9am to 5pm each day

Ferret Found

A ferret has been found and there is a post on Facebook about this.
It was seen around the Sunnybrae area prior to being caught.

"Yes Scotland" Event for Undecided Voters in Kirkton Hall on Friday l8th July 7pm





"Yes Scotland" Event for Undecided Voters organised by local "Dumfriesshire Says Yes" volunteers.

in Kirkton Hall 

The Meeting starts at 7pm and will go on until about 8.30pm,including time for questions.  
There is free tea, coffee, cake etc!  

The speakers are Joan McAlpine, MSP for South of Scotland, Mark Frankland, Writer and Charity Worker, Willie MacDonald of Labour for Independence and Arona Allan, a local Artist.

This local “Yes Information Event” should make for an interesting evening as the Referendum debate is of such importance to all.

Osprey Webcam



The Ospreys at Caerlaverock have now hatched. Ciril has built this platform for The WWT. (see our previous post on Ospreys, 11th April 2011)
